Closure Notice
Dear Valued Customers,
After 20 wonderful years of serving the Kerrisdale community, it is with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of Lok’s Chinese Restaurant effective February 26, 2025. We are proud to have been a part of the Vancouver restaurant scene since 1987, starting with our original location at Victoria & 33rd, followed by our second location at West 4th Avenue & Maple. It has truly been an honour to serve you over the decades, and we are deeply grateful for your unwavering support, loyalty, and friendship.
As the owners prepare for retirement, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for allowing us to be a part of your celebrations, gatherings, and everyday meals. It has been our pleasure to share our passion for authentic Chinese cuisine with you, and we will cherish the memories we’ve made.
While we are closing our doors, we are excited to announce that a new restaurant will be opening in our place soon. We encourage you to stay tuned for what’s to come and continue supporting the new establishment.

經過二十年來在Kerrisdale社區的服務，我們帶著複雜的心情宣布，根記海鮮酒家將於2025年2月26日正式結業。我們自1987年以來，一直是溫哥華餐飲界的一份子，最初在維多利亞街與33街開設首間店舖，之後又於西區4街與Maple街開設第二間分店。能夠在這些年來為大家提供服務，對我們來說是一種無上的榮幸，我們衷心感謝大家多年來的支持、忠誠與友誼。
隨著店主準備退休，我們希望能夠向各位表達衷心的感謝，感謝您讓我們成為您慶祝、聚會和日常餐飲的一部分。能夠與您分享我們對正宗中式美食的熱情，是我們無比的榮幸，我們將珍藏這些美好的回憶。
儘管我們即將關閉店鋪，我們很高興地宣布，一家新餐廳將很快在我們的位置開業。我們鼓勵您關注接下來的發展，並繼續支持新店的營運。

根記唯食樓開業至今，已擁有40多年經驗 。由於創辦人駱明根先生一值對選擇食材的質素和廚師烹調的方法 ，有一定要求，先可以素造倒每一道餸菜達至 「色，香，味 」俱全。加上食本店內專業服務態度，才可以令到所有顧客有賓至如歸的感覺。 「為食而留，唯一的酒樓，根記為食樓」
